Bed and Breakfast a Marina di Camerota

Territory

The wonders of the Cilento National Park

Slow Life B&B is located in the central square of Marina di Camerota, in the heart of Cilento: here are all the wonders that our territory offers

Cala Bianca

Cala Bianca beach is one of the most suggestive in the area. A passage of white pebbles, sand and crystal clear water that opens onto the Tyrrhenian Sea from the Infreschi coast. Thanks to its beauty, Cala Bianca won the title of the most beautiful beach in Italy in 2013 by winning the “Legambiente, the most beautiful you are” award.

How to get to Cala Bianca

To reach the beach of Cala Bianca it is possible to do it through boat trips organized by the various cooperatives of the port or through the path of the Infreschi. The path starts from the Lentiscelle beach in Marina di Camerota and runs along the entire coast of the Infreschi. You can also take the path in areas closer to the beach, but you still have to walk a long way.

Porto Infreschi

Baia degli Infreschi is a protected marine area full of charm located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. An unmissable place to get wet. The coastline is characterized by hidden and isolated beaches watched over from above by the ruins of the ancient watchtowers. The various caves, some of which are submerged, contribute to making the area even more suggestive.

How to get to Porto Infreschi

The beach of Baia degli Infreschi can be reached in three ways: by car, by boats (or by boat trips organized by the various port cooperatives) and on foot.

Le torri saracene

In the territory of Marina di Camerota there are 13 Saracen towers, one of which was incorporated into the Marchesale palace. The walls of the towers were built, at different times, with stones obtained on site.

Cala Monte di Luna

Among the beauties of Marina di Camerota, we find Cala Monte di Luna. Dominated by the mountain that bears the same name, it seems that this beach has been called this way because, seen from the town, it seems that the moon rises from this mountain. Another fascinating hypothesis is that, always seen from a distance, the outline of the moon appears as if it were carved into the rock. Monte di Luna is full of coves and has the most spectacular sea caves in the area.

Grotta azzurra

The Cala Fortuna Cave is located in Marina di Camerota and takes its name from the fact that net fishing here is always very fruitful. It is also called the Blue Grotto due to the effect produced by the blue coming from the seabed and the penetrating sunlight from a small opening located in the cave itself at sea level.

Arco Naturale

The natural arch is located between Marina di Camerota and Palinuro and divides on one side the equipped beach with kiosk and mooring for boats heading towards the caves and on the other from the private beach that can be reached by passing under the natural hole.

Oasi di Morigerati

Created almost 30 years ago in the territory of Morigerati, a few kilometers from the coast of the Gulf of Policastro, the WWF “Grotte del Bussento” oasis is a natural spectacle of waterfalls, crystal clear water springs and small lakes.

How to get

By car, after exiting the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway at Buonabitacolo, take the S.S. 517 and go towards the junction of Caselle in Pittari or, alternatively, towards that of Sicilì. Passing through the crossroads of Vibonati, however, you can reach Morigerati from the S.S. 18.
